BIO

Bob Ferraz is a creative for over than 13 years, having worked in portuguese and brazilian agencies. He currently works as a senior copywriter at NBS Rio de Janeiro (Dentsu Aegis Network). Bob began his career in the offline and today specializes in integrated campaigns, digital pieces and nontraditional activities.

Although born in Rio de Janeiro, he started his career in the northeast of the country, where he graduated in advertising, completed an MBA in Strategic Marketing and worked in the leading agencies of the region.

After that, he went to Lisbon to attend a Master’s degree in Design and Visual Culture. In Portugal, he worked as a senior copywriter at Leo Burnett, TBWA, Uzina, Duda Propaganda and was a creative supervisor at Torke, the first guerilla marketing and new media agency in Portugal. During the six 6 years that he lived in Lisbon, he also held political campaigns in Brazil and Portugal, being one of those responsible for coordinating the creative campaign for Governor and Senator of Paraíba State (Northeast of Brazil) and for the candidate to Portugal’s Prime Minister Paulo Portas.

In addition to his creative career, he was the editor for the website of Portugal Creative Club and founded GogoJob, the main jobs and advertising training website of Northeast Brazil.

Throughout his career, Bob has won over 100 national and international advertising awards, including Cannes Lions, One Show, CLIO, D&AD, El Ojo, Eurobest, EPICA, New York Festivals, Effie Awards, Portugal Young Creative, Creative Club of Portugal and, in 2012, he was one of the three winners of the Google Creative Sandbox Brazil.

In 2014, Bob Ferraz was elected by the Creative Club of Portugal as one of the best writers in the country in three different categories.
